Honeywell L5100-Zwave is a Z-Wave controller for the L5100 LYNX Touch alarm panel. The newest L5200 and L7000 LYNX Touch systems also support this module.
The L5100-Zwave supports Z-Wave scenes, rules and calendars. One Z-Wave scene is used to control multiple Z-Wave modules or all at once. For example it can configure a going to bed scene where it turns off all the lights, locks all the doors and sets the thermostat to a certain temperature. A Z-Wave rule is used to automate specific Z-Wave modules based in zone activity, the alarm status or security system alarm. A Z-Wave schedule is used to activate a scene based in a specific time. The Z-Wave scenes, rules and schedules for the L5100-Zwave controller are programmed inside the Honeywell wireless alarm control panel LYNX Touch. With a subscription to AlarmNet total Connect 2.0, you can add scenes. The scenes are managed and visualized only through the total Connect 2.0 account.
