Product Specifications
W2450-OS is based on an array of six radio, three 2.4 GHz omni-directional antennas covering 360⁰ and three 5 GHz antennas covering 120⁰ sector. This is useful when 5 GHz band is used for directional backhaul and the Wi-Fi access is provided in the 2.4 GHz band where 360⁰ coverage is required (such as urban areas).Alvarion W2450 base stations are advanced wireless broadband base stations operating in the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz unlicensed band and are fully compliant with the 802.11a/b/g/n standards.
This family of base stations operates in both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz concurrently providing Wi-Fi access in both bands at the same time. Additionally, the 5 GHz band can be used for backhauling, while the 2.4 GHz band can be used for Wi-Fi access.

TECHNOLOGY
This is a carrier-grade class of Wi-Fi base stations providing two-way Beamforming and 802.11n 3x3:3 MIMO. Additionally, combined with Alvarion’s interference mitigation algorithms it provides superior connectivity, extended range, increased capacity, indoor penetration and uniform coverage under both Line-of-Sight (LOS) and Non-Line-of-Sight (NLOS) conditions.
